Is the Stk 3042II a preamp or an amp?

I've got from an old friend an Stk 3042II.But when i searched to see from wich family does it has been born...nothing conclusive. In this link http://www.donberg.ie/descript/s/stk302ii.htm
is a preamp for wich i even found a schematic...But on Sanyo's homepage it is found as an amplifier ranged from 40W to 60W.
All this info is at least confusing ...Does anyone know a 'secure' schematic for this HIC ?

Interesting chip. It is a stereo voltage amplifier that can be made into a power amp by adding an output stage. In other words, it is the differential input stage, the voltage amplifier and the provision to add the quiescent bias circuit (between 5/6 or 10/11).

I wonder how the dynamic performance would be?
