I've been reading posts regarding soldering vs. crimping, and it looks like I should change my evil ways and start crimping. I'll be getting a Paladin 1300 or 8000 and will need to get a set or two of dies. They're not exactly pocket change, so I'd like to make the right choices. Which type of crimp lugs are most used in audio DIY? Do people use insulated or non-insulated more often. Are either not well suited for particular applications? etc....
thanks |
