Question ad8620 performance on +/- 5v. supplys?

hi, has anyone had any experience with these op amps on +/- 5v. supplys? right now i'm running opa2134s but, don't like the sound as well as the ad8620s which, i've ran on +/- 12v supplys before but have not heard them on +/- 5v, yet. has any one used the 5v, supplys with good results? by the way, it's on an old denon dcd 520 cdp. thanks in advance, crippledchicken

I use these in portable heaphone amps run from 8cell nimh
battery packs, so the voltage is around +- 5v , and they sound
fine

Check out the PPA and Pimeta schematics here:

http://tangentsoft.net/audio/

My amp is based around the Pimeta schematic but I use prefer to use the HA 5002 buffer over the Buff634.

Also check:

http://www.head-fi.org/

And:

http://headwize.com/index.htm

These sites have plenty of info about headphone amps.
