hi, has anyone had any experience with these op amps on +/- 5v. supplys? right now i'm running opa2134s but, don't like the sound as well as the ad8620s which, i've ran on +/- 12v supplys before but have not heard them on +/- 5v, yet. has any one used the 5v, supplys with good results? by the way, it's on an old denon dcd 520 cdp. thanks in advance, crippledchicken

Check out the PPA and Pimeta schematics here: http://tangentsoft.net/audio/ My amp is based around the Pimeta schematic but I use prefer to use the HA 5002 buffer over the Buff634. Also check: http://www.head-fi.org/ And: http://headwize.com/index.htm These sites have plenty of info about headphone amps. Setmenu |
