Help IDing Philips signal transformer

Anybody know anything about this transformer -- or make a guess as to what it does or how it could be used/repurposed.

Out of an early SS Philips reel-reel, so my initial guess is microphone input transformers. Marked WT 511 30 112. Each is 40x36x32mm.

very nicely made, 4 taps on each side (haven't measured them yet)

They may be interstage coupling transformers.
If the machine was for professional use, they may have been line input or line output (600 ohms) transformers.

The unit definitly wasn't pro... it had speakers mounted inside, and nothing but SE in & out.

I'll get my tools out and map the thing.
