hey ...i just got some ICs ...not eeproms or eproms ot anything...but there was a huge anti static sticker on the packet....i know quite a few chips can be destroyed be discharging from ur fingers...but what precautions should i take....i mean do need to hold them with pincers or somethinng?

You just need to ground yourself. Try to find a grounded metal plate(Not painted) and touch it. Then you'll be discharged. Try not to walk. If you can't, don't walk with shoes/on rug/carpet.

:lol: water radiator?, they should NOT be used as ground. The rear of your computer caseis a good place, just touch a screw while it's plugged
