I am trying to make a car amplifier and I heard of "Resonant SMPS" that they are more efficient. Can anyone help me understand how they work??

Hi DFI,
Are you still interested? I have just built a prototype. Not convincing at the moment. I use the L6599 from ST. Here is a link http://www.st.com/stonline/stappl/pr...X_DOC&latest=N Good luck. Serge
