need help finding a transistor in UK

I need 2 x 2SC3942 NPN transistors.
I cant find them in the UK and Digikey want an outrageous amount for handling/shpping.

Is there an equivelant i can use?
It is used as a CCS on the Hagerman Cornet2, i dont know if that affects alternatives.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check out the Sanyo devices Profusion stock. You may be able to get an equivalent.

All i could find there was a Fairchild item, but the base to emitter voltage was 2 volt lower than the specified one.
Is this a problem?

Maximum base-emitter voltage is not a critical parameter.
