Hi!

Just wondering if anyone knows about a similar or better reference diode than LM329 but in SO08 or SOT23? I'm looking for a LM431 with lower noise.... and not too high price either.

The drawback of LM329 is the low voltage tolerance. I have searched but I can't find anything suitable.

I could use the LTZ1000, but it's not available in SMD....

It is noisy according to the datasheet. The LM329 has 7uV noise on 6.9V output while the LM4041 has 20uV on 1.2V out (extrapolating to 6.9V it will be 115uV).
The article mentioned 20nV/sqrt(Hz) equivalent to 2uV on the same conditions above (6.9V output and 10Hz-10kHz spectrum)
