Bass volume control...
...this is similar to the thread above/below, HOWEVER I'm trying this between my electronic crossover's low pass out (audiocontrol EQX ser. II) and the subwoofer amp (soundstream rubicon 1002). Would a simple pot be accurate enough? How about a 2 position switch, with one with a resister added in the middle? I basically need 2 positions- "normal" mode and bass blast mode.
Attenuation would be sufficient, as long as I can do it accuaretly as I'd just run "bass blast" mode at a higher level and then pad that for "normal" mode. |
