Default DIY Vacuum or Evacuated cables

It seems that cable manufacturers tout the benefits of their dielectrics as approaching that of the ideal vacuum. You know, teflon, cloth, etc...

Well here is my idea, why doesn't anyone make evacuated cables that actually do insulate the wires in a pure vacuum? Or have a vacuum pump to seal the cables in a vacuum? Anyone ever tried or thought about this or have the ability to do it?

Hell, I wonder if I could vacuum seal my entire preamp, that would be kind of neat, though cooling and heat flow would need to be figured out.
