Default life of dale rn resistor

i have a lot of dale rn 55 resistor date code about 85xx
are their quality changed

They will last almost forever. Resistors in general dont have a shelf life like electrolytic caps do.

Well...not quite. Carbon composition resistors will absorb humidity over time, eventually getting out of spec. However, I think it's a safe bet that Dale metal film resistors will be good for quite some time to come.
All in all, I'd say to go for it. Somewhere around the year 2500 or so you'll probably want to upgrade to the latest fusion-fried unobtanium .0001% resistors anyway. By then I'm sure you'll have gotten your money's worth out of the Dales.
