OMRON G6K-2p-Y Latching relay 5VDC, DIP package
Digikey sent me (5) of these parts instead of 1/4w resistors. Anyways, I downloaded the PDF and it says 80% voltage for set, and 80% voltage to reset the relay. ...I don't understand. How do you latch/unlatch these relays? They're DPDT type. Does anyone have an example circuit? Thanks |

Hi,
you have to reverse the coil voltage to unlatch the relays. Giving a pulse in one direction switches the relay to the first switch position, giving a pulse in the other direction switches the relay to the second switch position. You can do this with a discrete or integrated H-bridge. Jochen |
