i sure hope this is an isolated instance, and i hope they check this forum!
i have been desparately trying to get a quote and order some transformers from VM, but i cannot get a response back! i have emailed twice (over course of 2 weeks), without a response, and even called and left a message. i have told them, i have money, i know what i want, i want to buy today! what does it take??
they are cheaper than plitron and some others, and i do need it custom made so my choices are small. anyone else had these experiences with them?

I've always gotten a prompt reply to my emails from John.
When i placed my last order there was a 14 day lead time... and i
took that to be 14 work days.
It may be they're just swamped right now - it is a small company.
This doesn't help your problem, i know, but i thought i'd share.

I just got a pair of transformers a few weeks ago from john at VM, and although the email method could be at times a bit on the slow side they did come and then i got some transformers that look good. I don't think an email response ever took more than a week though.
I personally might try the telephone next time!!
