Default Low side driver as a High side

I had a thought when I was considering the output stage of my amplifier. The only difference between the lowside and the highside of the Ir2110 internally is the level shifting. If the supplies were not floating (e.g one is reference to the other, inluding the 15v gate drive referenced to GND). Are you able to use a low side driver in a bootstrap situation?
