Default caps wanted

1st of all i just wanna say high as i'm new here....hi!

i've been tring to find some caps for my car amp (phoenix gold ms2125) but with no luck the caps i need are 2200uf 16v 105c and measure 18mmx30mm. i've tried lots of websites but no luck, they have smaller dimension caps but as the inside of my amp will be visible under a perspex window i want it to look factory

Why not just use 25 or 35V caps? That would make it a lot easier to find caps of the right size.

one company said that it wouldn't harm to go up in volts, is this correct then?

As long as you don't go too high in volts in won't cause problems. Using 25 or 35V instead of 16V capacitors is fine - using 200V capacitors is not a good idea.

Going up in voltage is not a problem in 99.9% of all cases. Make sure you use 105 degree caps so they last longer in the high heat.
