Default potentiometers in a mixer

just another question about potentiometers. I have just opened an old mixer and the gain potentiometer was an antilog type. The frequency pot. of the semi-parametric eq was also antilog type (a radiohm 47KC). Are these always antilog types? and how about the Q potentiometer of a parametric eq?

Thanks, Zahlm
