Question on ID resistor

Hi all,

I just bought some resistors from a surplus store, the body is glass with gold plated leads, could this be a Corning resister? It has the following markings:
A
208C
1470 (This one I know .. 147R)
8 SRJ

And since I am on the subject of resistor, does Tantalum resistor has a specific look and is it different from metal film? Or should I ask what exactly is a Tamtalum resistor?

208C is probably a temp rating of 208 celsius..

Tantalum usually looks like a normal resistor.

Dont know much about them though, other than they usually have a good tolerence rating (1%)
