2sk170 / 2sj74 pinout ?

Hi !

I'm a little confused...
Are the Drain/Source interchangeable for these devices like
with other jFETs ?
And if not, what is the exact pinout ? I dont get the answer from
the datasheet, as it doesnt say if the pinout is viewed from top
or bottom

So, i only know that the Gate sits in the middle...

Looking in this datasheet http://www.diyparadiso.com/datasheets/2sk170.pdf when you are holding the transistor with the legs towards yourself and flat side up the left is drain and the right is source.

Found by googling with "2sk170" and "pdf"

I already thought that, as the 2sj201 seemed to be this way...
I searched the forum, but forgot to google !

This means, if the pins arent interchangeable i did it right.
Ok, now continuing debugging the circuit, somehow my latest
amp likes to flip... (BAD for speakers)
