I’m curious about these sockets:
Belton 9 Pin Miniature Chassis / PC Mount Socket
| TubeDepot.com
This are designed for pcb AND chassis mount.
There must be a provision on the pcb for the connection, but how does one successfully chassis AND pcb mount the connector?
They’re used in the audio note L3 phono stages as well; except not using the chassis mount configuration.

It’s so the tube shield is grounded regardless of chassis connection.
It’s not entirely clear to me how these are best utilized, however it’s nice to have an option in which the tube shields are de-facto grounded.
Does anyone have some photos of these being used in other designs for wrapping my head around this? I haven’t been able to find much in the wild.
The Belton documentation isn’t very clear- just has dimensions etc.

Their part is # VT9-PT-C. It has the usual pcb style solder pins, and also installed
on the top of the socket is the mounting plate, with ears for bolting to the chassis.
Audio Research has used this style for output tubes that mount to the pcb,
but they are bolted to the pcb instead of ot the chassis. It could be done either way.
I've seen similar sockets with PEM nuts installed on the ears for easier assembly.
