Default bi-polar vs. regular Electrolyte cap

When using a good type of cap, say like Nichicon MUSE series, what's the theorectical benefit to choose between a bi-polar cap or choosing a regular polarized electrolyte cap?

Any thought of this? Which one might do better to the sound, theorectically?

Any sharing is appreciate!

Thomas

Bipolar I believe is just two caps connected in series at the negative terminals.

So maybe this would give you a lower ESR.

Im not sure what else it does though..

Go read Cyril Bateman's series in Electronics World. He goes
into some detail on bipolar (nonpolar) vs polarized
electrolytics. It's not as simple as two polarized units
back-to-back.

You can even buy a cd from him with the whole article series - test results and everything - to a reasonable price. It's pretty educational and informative.
