How do they differ from the barrel/striped diodes?
These are for full wave rectification.

No difference, just a different type of molded package. If the specs match or exceed, then you're fine.

Located right at AC power input. No idea of the brand...
Never seen diodes like these before.
This is on my old DAC... my new DAC uses the common black barrel diodes. I wanna use whichever ones are better...
