URGENT !! Ham power supply , 13.8V 5A
 
Hi ,

Someone here have a high regulated 13.8 V 5 Amp power supply ? Or some 12 V 5 A schmatic's ?
I don't want more than 5 amp ..

Might be a bit hard to get a transformer that big at a cheap price...you might want to look into SMPSU using some old PC power supplies...

old computer powersupply will do just fine. you will want the yellow(12v) and the black(ground) wires. all the old at ones should have at least 5A on the 12v. and if u want to know how to mod one so it will give u 20A aqnd 13.5V try and get a copy of the October, 2003 silicon chip. http://www.siliconchip.com.au/cms/A_30705/article.html
