Hi,
Seem be there are many good power cap:
-Rifa PEH169
-Felsic 037/039
-F&T screw
-ROE EYL, EYM, EYP...
-BHC ALSxx
-Philips/BC screw
-Siemens/Epcos Sikorel
... More?
Can anyone give me suggest: which is the winner of long life and condition tolerating?
I don't care much about leaded/snap-in since they are only good for PCB mount and cannot dissipate much heat through their small leads.
Any comments are welcome!

Ops! Too tall for me Small should make it easier to arrange. Mallory is a part of Cornell Dubilier now?
I need something around 10000-15000uF, 75-100V.
10000 hrs at maximum rating is good, but more are better, of course.
I have seen some people torn the plastic sleeve and wrap the naked cap with handmade heatsink from alum sheets. So I search for more effective heatsinking, I found that Mundorf HC and F&T GW are designed to attach to heatsink. Mundorf are too expensive so let them out the table. May the F&T GW is the way to go?
PEH169 was told like a rock but they spec are no better than Felsic. Any suggestion?
ROE, Philips, BHC seem only NOS or used now. Sikorel are for fast pulse (advantage?)

Or just get some Epcos B41550, and I don’t think the mention of them being capable of pulsed applications makes them in a special category, they are just great parts.
They’re made with several windings like you would have with several smaller parts in parallel together, probably have some damping characteristics too that makes them better at pulsed applications.

Use 2-4 caps in parallel instead of chasing ONE perfect cap.
Yes, I want to parellel 2 cap to get about 30000uF, 4 maybe too hard to fit in my case.
I don't think I will choose but thank you anyway.
Within my collection of screw-end caps, I also have Sprague, S.L.C.E and BHC Aerovox. Check them out, if you wish.
Can you show me your collection?
I'd love to.
The BHC Aerovox are at the office though.
Check the rest of them. I'm going to take advantage of the situation and put some capacitor order.
A big box that's going to burst, because it swallowed so much screw-end capacitors.
Siemens, Sprague
1976 made Siemens, reformed, in a perfect condition
Really old RIFA PEH169, and some naked RIFAPEH169
More RIFA
Siemens
Pairs of LMT, Sprague and a non-screw(ed) Philips
More.. A lonely Siemens Sikorel, General Electric, a lonely orange colored Siemens and the S.L.C.E

More RIFAs

I know these don't count, but I had them on my hands too. Lots of snap-in Epcos and Siemens LL, Roe and more..

And the others are in use...

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

I consider RIFA 15000uF 63V.
