Please help! I won this auction for a stolen-recovery '03 yukon DVD player. I figured for 100 bucks, I couldn't go wrong. Well, it arrived today, and the housing is shot, so I'll have to figure out another way to mount it.
Questions: 1.)Can I buy a harness to connect directly into the rear, or will I have to jimmy rig something? 2.)Can you guys tell me which are the power and ground prongs so I can test it to make sure it works? Anybody have any wiring diagrams? The connector has 12 pins(2 rows of 6). 3.)Is it possible to purchase a new housing(shell) from the stealership(or other means) that I can swap it over into, or do they only come fully loaded? For those of you that might think that I got this by illegal means, here is the auction(just so we're on the same page)[8D]: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ME:B:EOAB:US:6 A couple of pics to help: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It still has fingerprint lifting dust on it. So what do you guys think? Any help will be appreciated. My main worry is testing it to make sure it works. |
