Default Online Retail Review: Electronic Goldmine

Wanted to let everyone know of a online place I recently went through.

Electronic Goldmine, basically a reseller I guess. They have a bunch of buy out and overstocks that they sell real cheap. I bought a bunch of odds and ends, especially some Gold Paks. All in all I spent about $40 total and got a bunch of stuff. Plus they have cool mystery boxes, where you just get a bunch of stuff for cheap.

Shipping was expensive though, about $9 (on a $30 order thats alot!). But everything came nicely packed like Parts Express.

They don't really sell anything special, or exotic, but if your someone who doesn't mind using Samsung or Nichicon capacitors or stuff made from copper and not gold, or just looking to expand the junk box, this seems like a great place (well IMHO at least )

Default Service at the Gmine

I have been buying stuff at the Electronic Goldmine for quite some time, its got great prices. Recently I bought a 12VCT transformer and upon plugging it in it measured 8VCT. I called them and explained the situation and they sent me a new one, didn't even have to send the old one back. So I like their service, just don't email them you get an autoreply telling you to call.

Default Electronic Goldmine - Rude Customer Service!!!

I have been ordering parts for 30 years and only with Electronic Goldmine in Az have I had such a horrible experiences with - their customer service is outright rude.
Being an internet only company, in this day and age of the internet I can't believe they are still in business. I can see why they have so many horrible reviews online and the BBB rates them as an F!
