Default What ratings stay constant in a dual primary 110/220 xfrmr?

Another thing I need to know but don't remember being discussed...

The example is a transformer with dual primaries, can be wired parallel for 110VAC mains and series for 220VAC mains.

1) Although such transformers are rated nominally as X VA in both cases, is this truly the result, or is one case typically a higher VA because of less voltage droop from overheating at high load?

2) If we wire the primaries for 220 VAC and use it in 110VAC mains, does the secondary rating actually become X/2 VA, or higher since there will me much less overheating and resultant voltage droop at high load?
