Default simple transformer question

I see ads for power transformers as 24VCT 3Amps, does this mean it's a:

12-0-12 transformer
or a
24-0-24 transformer

I'm guessing it's the 12-0-12 kind, is it?

Yup, and if you connect it to a FWB rectifier, you can draw:
- 4A(DC) from + to ground,
- 4A from - to ground, or
- 2A from + to - (or + to gnd & - to gnd)
