I'm a tube guy myself but in general we don't use electrolytics in the audio path. A good signal cap is the Audience Auricap. Not too expensive and sounds better than electrolytic. They are metalized polypropylene film caps. As for power supply either Nichicon or Panasonic are good choices.
An advantage you solid state guys have is the caps you use are relatively low voltage. If you're working with a circuit board check out WIMA MKP caps. Inexpensive and a lot of tube guys sware by them. But there are dozens of formulations so do the research to find the best type.

I use both kinds, and of the components I choose, practicality goes hand in hand with the chosen band for each amp and its PSRR among other things. Apart from the dual rails with SS, my supply design philosophy is the same for both.I'm a tube guy myself
Are there no capacitor choice threads on this and other websites? I thought I have seen one or two here and there, although I don't take much notice of them myself. Was I imagining them?
Or does the OP simply want to cut through all the discussion, get the definitive answer (whose definitive answer?), and be told what he should think?
