Amazon resistor "selections"

I just ordered 1,700 plus/minus 1% metal film resistors from Amazon. Upon receiving them, I've yet to measure a single one that meets the tolerance! Most are +/- between 3 & 5 percent with a few being as far off as 10%.

I suspect that someone's collecting all the culls from an assembly line & selling them on Amazon as meeting their color code.

The vendor was "CuteQueen." Caveat Emptor.

Why would you buy components from a seller named CuteQueen on Amazon?
Everything points out to a wrong address.

I bought the resistor assortment on Amazon sold by "Joe Knows Electronics". Here is a link to the sales page. These resistors were within tolerance and, better still, neatly sorted into envelopes so I can find the value I want, extremely quickly. Would buy again.
