Folks,
Does anyone know of a supplier of 1000VW electros? I'm looking for about 100uF. Cheers, Hugh |

The highest voltage I have come across for electros is 600V and thats pretty rare already.
To my knowledge it is not possible yet to go any higher than 600V with the materials used. The only option you have is to place two 200uF 550V in series combined with two resistors for voltage division. Dick.

Hi,
I have seen 100uF 800V here in Tokyo, was a bit surprised I also thought that 500V maybe 600V was the limit so it is possible that these 800V units contains double caps but they look like ordinary elyts. I can check brand name next time I go to Akihabara, I work only 2 stops from there. Regards Hans |

Even then, for the 600-800V's they just connect two in series internally.
