Question 480/240V transformers

I see a lot of auctions for industrial control transformers on ebay, some of which go for pretty cheap.
They are usually 240/480 primary, and 120V secondary.

If i were to wire one of these up for 480, and put 120 from my mains there, would i get the expected amount of voltage drop on the other end? Like 30V? I realize the VA would change quite a bit as the amp rating would not change, so a 200VA transformer would then be a 48VA one.

Thanks.
