Question finding a chip

Hello, I am looking for a 16 pin dip with the part number "DBL 494" on it. I removed it from my car amp and I think it is for the osc for the p/s. If someone can help, please do.
Thank you
Pete

Hi, Pete!

AFAIK, the DBL494 is also known as TL494. Perhaps this chip might be easier to find?!?

Regards
Kai
