Default Free samples from National.
I just ordered some LM3886s samples, and guess what? TI charged me $11.20!

Apparently they do it selectively based on domain name of your email address.

Since I paid for my samples, I don't feel like I'm abusing the system. Is this feeling justified?

Edit: Oops, that's National, not TI. Sorry...

Well, if you ask TI samples of National Semiconductor everything is possible..

Just noticed my error. I ordered some chips from TI too, but they didn't charge me

I noticed that Onsemi started to charge costs as well. But having the problem that no shop in the neighbourhood can provide me with the parts, I don't have a problem that Onsemi is charging me.

I'm using hotmail but they didnt charge me.

I've never been lucky with national

After having requested some samples, I always recieved an email telling that the request has been refused.

Maybe they don't send samples to france

The last time I ordered samples, I could only get 10 max. Now I see you can get up to 25 pieces. I don't mind paying shipping for that.

I used to be able to get up to 50 pieces per item for onsemi when they were still free. Now I can only order up to 25 pieces per item with USD8.99 shipping. BTW, the delivery in my country is by hand.
