Default 33000uF 63V capacitor

I am looking for 33000uF 63V big cap. I found in Digikey 382LX333M063N102 Cornell Dubilier Electronics (CDE) | 382LX333M063N102-ND | DigiKey

It's only $17!!! What is the catch?

Obviously $850 for one capacitor is a bit much, that might be the catch

They expect you to order 50 pieces. Now that would make a big power supply.

$3.95 from apex jr. I am using 6 of them in my amp's psu. 50V though, might work for you?

Almost 12A of ripple current capability. That's very good for a normal commercial grade capacitor.
Three paralleled 10mF 63V Cornell will easily beat that.

So that is a good cap? The reason I asked is because I saw on ebay that the same value caps are generally a lot more. The only gripe is it has a solder terminal rather than the conventional screw terminal.

What is ripple current means? Should I choose higher value or lower value?

Thanks

those look like really great caps I like the aspect ratio, close terminal spacing is usually a good sign > esr at higher frequencies.

The catch is they're not in stock.

Ripple current is the filter capacitor rms current, which if excessive causes heating and a shorter life.
