ive searched high and low for a schematic for an audio delay (ie. delay the incoming audio by say 2 secs). i found a few schematics on google but they all use obsolete parts.
i need a delay ranging from about 0-2000ms |

Hi !
A couple of years ago I decided to investigate that. In all my research i found only 3 ways of delaying the signal. 1- Digital (of course you have memory to store the samples) 2- Analog using switched caps. This one is imlemented inside one chip that I dont remember the name. THis chips is used into the guitar pedals (delay, flanger, etc). I dont know if those chips are still available. 3- A teacher told me that many delay circuits are made with magnetic tapes, recording in one side, and reading in the other. Varying the speed of the tape you have your delay. Of course, Ive never tried any method, so if you use one of them , tell me the results ! Bye bye.. Bukitoo |
