Hello.
I found some Teapo 2200 mfd 35V caps for 25cents each at a surplus store. Does anyone know anything about these caps? I will be auditioning them in a gain clone soon. The model # is Teapo SX105 2200mfd 35V. Thanks for any info! Mike |

You can find the spec in here TEAPO
Teapo is one of the largest capacitors manufacture in Taiwan. Teapo is formly an OEM firm of SHARP (Japan). Teapo capacitors are reliable but none of their product is for audio purpose. However, TEAPO SX is Low Z series, accroding to their spec, it is equivalant to NCC SXE and ELNA RSG, so SX Series is not bad at all. |

Early Teapos blew up nicely. They didn't like power spikes very much, even little ones.
![]() I didn't know they were still around.
