I am thinking of buying the 54657A add on for my HP54602 scope. This has a GPIB interface.
Does this mean default connectivity to a printer via a HP compatible parallel port printer, or will I have to program this in? |

Sorry, no can do.
GPIB is the same interface as IEE-488 and it has nothing to do with a standard parallel printer interface. You can still pick up old HP Thinkjet printers at a reasonable price with a GPIB interface (that's what I use on my TDS420 scope). Phil |
