Smile resistor vs. fet single, or cascode opamp bias?

hi folks, in my adcom gtp 500 11 preamp/ tuner i have replaced the adcom opamps with opa-2604s, for a decent improvement. my question is, would it maybe be better to remove the two class a biasing resistors per chip, which are already there and try single or cascode biasing? thanks for your opinions, crippledchicken
