Default yamaha cr600 replacement bulbs

hello everyone i recently bought a yamaha cr 600 which works nicely but the bulbs don,t work is there anybody out there that knows where i can get some replacements or can maybe point me in the right direction, many thanks in advance paul

some have put leds in place of bulbs , some small automotive 12v bulbs will work with some minor futzing I dont recall the bulb number but they are not hard to find got mine at NAPA autoparts for my Yamaha B2..

eyoung thanks very much i will look into that but what is futzing? would i solder them directly on to the existing wires thanks paul

MOoly, I used these in my Yam 640, Mouser part# 606-cm2182. They were perfect for my Yam Receeiver... Rubber boots slipped in perfect. A bit of a pain soldering those dinky wires.

Been there with a CR-1020. Search for "grain of rice bulb".

Go to Mouser.com and insert that part number in search and yes it's the long skinny bulb like original.....
