Default cmoy parts

Hello there,
a friend and I are going to build our first cmoy, using the excellent Tangentsoft Tutorial
We live in Europe (Belgium) however, and thus haven't got any good/cheap access to electronics stores like Radioshack and Digi-key. Tangent lists his parts also at a European company though, RS-components, from which I will be buying the cmoy parts. I have a few problems though:
  • The 0.1 F polypropylene film cap doesn't seem to exist anymore. I searched for alternative 0.1F / 100nF alternatives here, but only found caps with high voltage specification. Does anyone know a good alternative for the "regular" and/or "smallish" version?
  • The recommended circuit board is only available at Radioshack, and the listed alternative (T2 Retail) doesn't seem to send them to Belgium, so does anyone know a way to get this one in Europe?
  • Any other suggestions?

Regards,
Bert

PS: for those who buy their parts at RScomponents too, and want to use the Serpac case, I have found the grey version which isn't listed in the Tangentsoft list.

-The jacks in your link are N-type jacks for WLAN antennas, not power jacks. DC Power Supplys usually have 5.5/2.5mm or 5.5/2.1mm plugs. Find out which one you have, then pick: http://be02.rs-online.com/web/p/dc-p...ckets/0448370/ , http://be02.rs-online.com/web/p/dc-p...ckets/0448376/

-Are you comfortable working with schematics and creating layouts? Then you can get another type of circuit board and simply change the layout to fit.

-High voltage specs on a capacitor doesn't necessarily mean they're 'bad' for low voltage. If you're going polyester, like the 2nd and 3rd option on tangent's list: http://be02.rs-online.com/web/p/poly...itors/1854151/ , http://be02.rs-online.com/web/p/poly...itors/0117971/ , http://be02.rs-online.com/web/p/poly...itors/1854151/

-Have you tried other suppliers (Farnell Belgium comes to mind, although I have no idea whether they sell to private customers or businesses only?)?
