How can I connect a frequency generator (BNC) to an amp (RCA) ?

I want to test my gainclone, but there's a small problem:

the gainclone has RCA inputs, and the frequency generator has a BNC output, and uses coaxial cable.

For sure, I'll have to build (or buy) a BNC->RCA adapter. But what should I put in it?
Only 2 plugs, nothing more? Or terminate the coax line with a 50R resistor from live to ground?

Hi Bricolo,

From many hi-fi shops there are also 75 coax cables available with a RCA cinch at one side and a BNC at the other side. These are intended to connect (home) video equipment together. Such a cable serves me pretty well for the same purpose as you have.

Cheers ;)
