I am making the plans for an airplay box, like eladmi has made: Retro Style Airplay Boombox with Alpair 10 MAOP
This will be my first DIY-audio project, so I am kind of new with all the audio talk. I have a specific case design in my mind, but I will first make a box like eladmi's design for good practise. Will be hard enough I guess. I would like your help for the electronic parts; I've an raspberryPi set up for airplay and I wanna hook it up to an usb-card better audio than the standard analog-port. I will list the parts I want to use and hope you can respond if i made some error with a part or have recommendations for better. - RaspberryPi (link) - USB-DAC from hifimediy: sabre link - amp from hifimediy: Hifimediy T2 Mundorf (link) - Powersupply: Meanwell NES 350W 27V (link) - driver: markaudio alpair 7 Last edited by Njit; 27th January 2013 at 10:00 PM. |
