Bulk 24-channel snake cable source please? 100 ft should do it.
Also possibly a box punched for XLR connectors please??? Thank you Phil

Not sure what "snake" cable is. And since you do not display even the country you are in, it is difficult to know whether or not to respond. You could check at Mouser Electronics - Electronic Components Distributor .

Hi
Snake cable is bundled audio cable to get from a mixing board to a boxful of XLR connectors onstage. I need 24 bundled cables, with or without the box. I am in the USA. I will try Mouser; I've done stuff with them before Thanks Phil |

Markertek | Audio and Video Equipment | Professional Broadcast Studio Equipment
or HAVE, Inc. I deal with both and they both are good.

Look for a distributor of Belden wire products. Make sure that you are looking at good shielded pairs for this application.

Pano mentioned them already and I second it, Markertek. Dale Audio is great too but I don't know for sure if they carry what you are after, but both companys are great to deal with.

"Markertek" is a great place for all pro A/V technical stuff.
"Have" is a great place for cable. Lets add "Redco Audio" to the list. Professional Recording Equipment Accessories: Shop Our Selection of Audio Equipment Accessories, Custom Engraved Panels and Custom Audio Cables - Redco Audio Professional Audio Equipment Accessories

Find some friend who sells Rapco and gets it wholesale, or who can buy Belden direct at wholesale prices. 20 years ago I could get Rapco or ProCo snakes for less than the parts cost. Sorry I don't have those good connections anymore; I'm out of the business for too long.
Try these guys: http://www.soundprotector.com/SPbulkmic.html But be aware that the trend is toward digital snakes over fiber optic or cat5. Also, there are many small variations in materials, fire rating, shield, capacitance, wire guage, jacket, etc. so when you shop make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Google 'mic snake cable bulk' and you get a LOT of hits! Last edited by cyclecamper; 26th December 2012 at 08:15 PM. |
