Default Prototype board and component stands

I was curious if anyone might know where I could purchase component stands similar to the ones used in the image linked below (I'm not sure if they have a formal name; I've had no luck with google).

I would also love to get a hold of the prototype boards used.

Look for "turret terminals" or "staked terminals". Keystone electronics used to be one source, but I don't think they ever had gold-plated parts.

Some starting points for your research. It looks like Mill-Max offers a variety of plating choices.

"Standardized Turret Terminals" at http://www.keyelco.com/products/stan...CategoryID=105

"2355 - Brass Alloy Turret Terminal Pin" at http://www.mill-max.com/pin_rec_cata...pin&stagecode=

"100 Mil-Spec Double Turret PCB Swage Mount Terminals" at http://www.ebay.com/itm/100-Mil-Spec...00564132779%26

"(10) Dual Turret Swage Terminals DIY PCB Tube Amp Preamp" at http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Dual-Turr...item27ccf77acb

You need some specialized tools to install these things, but you can make the tooling from bits of steel, bolts, etc you have laying around under the bench or purchase at a hardware store. (REAL hardware stores are almost extinct but the "home-center" chains can supply the necessary materials if your moral standards will tolerate doing business with them.) See "How to Make Top Quality Turret Boards (with simple tools)" at http://site.tubedepot.com/pdf/turret_boards_v1.pdf
