I have seen that pseudo balanced-line setup (the 200 Ohm res) before. I have never tried it and, as I said before, for an extra Euro you can get a proper balanced line drive circuit. E
Dear Mickeymoose,
I'd like to record various sources from binaural soundscape recordings to smaller delicate sounds. My next piece of equipement is either Echo Audiofire4 sound card (with preamps) and Zoom H1 pocket recorder. Preamps on the Zoom are rather noisy, so it would be best to be able amplify the mics as much as possible (line level?).
Regarding the line driver, would something like this be sufficient?
Line Driver / Receiver - Professional Audio Line Driver - DRV134 - TI.com
