hmmm..yeah...maybe he could try a local repair store...although they are probably gonna charge alot for those unmarked transistors...get a speaker protection circuit while you are at it...

Well, it might be that some friendly repairman who's been around
for a while might know something about these transistors, but wouldn't want to bother getting them and instead share what he knows. I would like to think such people still exist, if one can find them. Actually, I think I have also seen places on the net that buy and sell obsolete transistors. Don't have any link right now. |

maybe he could go to a lab or some other guy with more advance equipment and get these stuff checked out??? Since it's only one channel broken...I gather there are enough transistors on the "other side" to ensure a good result...
