Default Need: Insulated Nickcrome Resistance Wire

I am looking for a small piece of insulated Nickcrome resistance wire to repair a old 3.7 ohm resistor in a multimeter. It should be approxomately 26 to 28 ga wire that has a resitance of 1.5 to 7 ohms per foot. Appreciate any help.

^^^^ 3 resistors which give you 3.7 ohms in parallel.
But why worry, there's 1% resistors close enough:
RS2B 3.705K .1% Vishay / Dale | Mouser

If not available, there's also 3.65 ohms and 3.74 ones (next up/down values and still close enough)

EDIT: I misread.
Those are 0.1% resistors !!!!!!!
