Default HELP- Please with 12V bulb display front panel

Help- This is a on/off light (12V bulb) inside this case and I can't seem to get it out- I tried to pry off the black cap and no luck- ANY advice is appreciated

Usually things like that are replaced when they burn out. I would call that an indicator light.

SOmething like this, I found at Mouser, they come in many shapes.:

Thanks Enzo- That looks like the way to go- I don;t think this lamp I have was designed to replace the bulb like you say- Looks pretty easy to find the right or close fitting part- Thanks so much-
