I am building a class D amplifier and I have been using 18Gauge steel for my previous cases but now I want to use aluminium and I have no experinse on working with aluminum nor a local source so I am going to order some from onlinemetals and I was wondering what gauge or how tick in mm would be better to use, some thing strong I was thinking of 2mm the case is very small like 6x7x2.
