DIP 4-pin IC Sockets
Hi all -
I'm trying to find the ever ubiquitous 4-pin DIP sockets that have 8 total pins - used for op-amps and other popular 8-pin ICs I'm trying to find these on Mouser and about to go crazy in the process. These are so popular and should only be about .10 cents/piece. Does someone have a quick link to the part number on Mouser? Thanks |

Thanks guys. I ultimately found it with a little tenacity. I just like to verify what I'm buying by seeing a picture. Never once did they show an 8-pin socket though!

DIp sockets come in standard sizes, 8,14,16,20,22,24,etc.
I never bother to stock all those sizes. 100 16 pin DIP sockets in the drawer, if I need a 14, I nip off the two pins on the end. If I need an 8, I cut the thing in half. |
Yeah.. I usually keep some 8-pin DIP sockets around, but I'm starting a new project and need 18 of them. So thought it was time to stock up on a few.
